John Leslie “Jackie” Coogan (1914 – 1984) was an American actor who began his film career as a children’s actor in silent films and became one of the first children’s stars in the history of cinema after the Charlie Chaplin film classic The Kid (1921).

Jackie was also known as Uncle Fester in the 1960 comedy The Addams Family many years later.
