Research shows that we do not have an idea of how many calories are in our fast food meals, and that the more caloric the item, the more likely we underestimate the amount. So, how can we improve by knowing how much we are putting into our bodies and how much will we have to move to solve it?

On average, adults and children thought they ate 175 calories less than what they actually consumed, and teens dropped by 259 calories. (When the survey was conducted, none of the chains published calorie counts on their menus).

University, the researchers used food menus that listed the number of minutes it would take to get away from the articles and discovered that they can help people make healthier choices.
